Give more info. Do you have any screenshots at all?

As mentioned many times before, RenGuard does not interact with Renegade in any way. It acts as a wrapper for Renegade, it is started though RenGuard. That is all.

That is why RenGuard cannot be the cause of your problem

Bulldawg, it is possible that you have your antivirus or firewall set to only allow incoming or outgoing network data from "game.exe" instead of in addition to "game2.exe". If such a thing is occuring, it is possible that your antivirus or firewall software is trying to present a dialog for you asking if you wish to allow the game to connect to the internet, but since Renegade is using the fullscreen, it may not be able to be displayed properly. You could try running Renegade in windowed mode (I forget how at the moment, and am too lazy to look it up... it's not hard), and connect to WOL and see if you get any such dialog.

Yeah, the freeze might be the result of a popup dialog....try the game in windowed mode, using renguard.
