Nope, you've fallen into the trap of over graphicalisation. It took a moment to actually read what they're saying -- You need to tone down on all this fancy stuff and make the banner good, but a lot simpler. Fancy writing and that grid stuff doesn't better the image.

Yeah - the green grid design I despise - it was a band members pushing that gave rise to that one... Confused
