...run programs like Winamp in the background so we can listen to tunes while we play? The last time I tried RG complained that I had some kind of exploit and kicked me out.

There was a time when people were impressed that I have the firepower to decimate a planet in under 10 minutes.

It won't interact with RG in any way. So yew it will work. But keep in mind hat it will eat up some of your CPU.

I noticed, my framerates dropped from the mid-20s to the low teens, though I think this has more to do with my only having 256mb of RAM than it does my processor, which is an Athlon 1800XP. So no music for me right now Sad

Maybe. I have more RAM than you do, but less CPU power. For me the CPU power is important. But RAM isn't. Winamp only takes up 7-9MB of RAM.
