it finally lets me log in and i get to the channel list and every game says version mismatch. it wont let me join any games or anythnig. and my ping is like 31000. smoe1 help me plz

then retry..

hm... i downloaded newest version and it patched or w/e . i get on and the game names say version mismatch.

I get this every once in a while too. I could be logged in playing all day, accidentally hit the back button and have to log back in and I get the same thing. I also get this trying for the 1st time too. What has worked for me is I just keep trying to log in over and over and finally I get in correctly.

I don't think it has anything to do with RG if anyone thinks that because I have turned it off and it still happened. I also suspect it may be partly internet issues, but that is a big guess. Hearing it happens to someone else, makes me think it is something with the connection part to WOL. Do you have a router? Cool

uninstall renegade
find C:\Westwood\Renegade
delete it
then re-install and patch it again

Almost every time I get it, this has worked. Turn off your antivirus and internet security software, start Renegade and join your game. When you are loaded, alt+tab out and turn your AV back on.
