	| I don't get these threads....what's the point? post your rig and see who's got the "bigger dick"? I don't know about anyone else, but I couldn't care less about anybody's PC.. unless they're needing tech support or something.. bah.
plus an x800 is a waste of money... no need for anything better than a 9800 right now. what are you going to do, get your computer to handle a hundred trillion calculations a second while playing doom3 and half life 2 and watching two DVDs?

plan to upgrade my CPU sometime but the stores online i checked only have AMD CPU's that will give me a 200MHz boost :/

MHZ isn't generally the only thing that shows how good a CPU is. The Athlon 64's are around 2.4ghz but they blow away a lot of CPUs out there.

	| Yeah, AMD processors work at slower speed (= less clock cycles, Mhz), but they do a lot more work per each clock cycle. That's why an AMD Athlon 3000+ can compete with a 3Ghz Pentium, even though Athlon only runs at a little over 2Ghz.
Intel is following AMD's footsteps in this though. In close future, the amount of Mhz isn't even shown in the processor name, they just make different brands to reflect the CPU's general capabilities. The amount of megahertz won't mean very much anymore.
