I am thinking of adding a "Personal Topics" forum for people to post more sensitive topics like relationship issues, parental problem, etc... Such a section would add a new moderator or two to make sure any insensitive posts were removed promptly.

What do you think? Vote above. I'm just running a 1-day poll because I think I'll get a good idea of how you guys feel about the idea rather quickly.

The forum is still overloaded with too much boards in my Opinion.
Make one general 'Offtopic'
And mybe think about joining some other forums too, or make the once that are not accesable by 'normal' users (like the ServerAdmin or Silo) not visible to the public.
I'm not running my Browser at full scren and had to scroll even to find the Modfoums.... Shocked

Maybe a forum called Downloads?
People share what downloads are available from the net (legal), whether its from C&C to Virus Removal Tools.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of a forum that shares personal thoughts & issues, but would that last? might it be a forum like Win32 FDS which is hardly used?
Its unpredictable at this stage, but if it was, you'd be kicking yourself Razz
Give the Forum a 2 month trial, and if all isn't as what you thought it would be, scrap the idea Cool Wink

I vote yes because it would help clean up this General Discussion forum by removing some of those above mentioned threads. Just make this forum is a little bit more organized, along with given those threads and posters some fair ground to speak. Smile

I guess I should also mention that I intend to "group" the forums up and re-organize a bit.

I really feel that a lot of us have known each other on here for years and a lot of you are in the teenager level which is always a source of strife. In having this new section, like I said before, I would add 2 moderators whose sole responsibility was that forum (in addition to Blazer, Warranto, and myself) to make sure it is covered as often as possible. Another possibility is to create a "group" that can access the forum and you would add yourself to the "group" if you wanted to be a part of it.

It does look like the votes were overwhelmingly in favor of the new forum... let's see what I can do. Smile
