		hello all
since 3 day's ago i have installed CP1 and it seems that my renegade is slower at loading and laggy

Example: a friend of my has a 1,8 mgh comp and i have a 2,8
u usally be in the game much ealier then him but after i have installed CP 1 he is much faster then me

And i lag much more in the server is play
I have never lag or even lagspikes on the fanmaps server but after i have installed CP 1 i suddenly lag
does anyone know if this has to do with CP1

I hope you can fix this
PS: i did not have reinstalled my renny

I do not think it's that i have from my 151 gb at least 137 avible ( or however you write it )

Good idea iam going to try it
but i have a other plan aswel
uninstal renny instal it then de frag my pc and see if it goes faster or not
if it don't
then i can't blame CP 1 for it but myself

My specs are similar and only have 180GB HardDrive, since installing CP1 my loading time has become quicker.

		I am having a P4 1.7G (Northwood)
512MB of PC2700
I don't notice any slow down and I think it loads faster than before.
The HDD Ren is on is a Ultra160 9.1G 10000RPM and it runs smoothly and I think the load time per a map has also being reduced as well.

Try disabling your Antivirus. I'm not exactly sure when I started having problems (Sometime during summer), but my McAfee Antivir frequently causes huge FPS drops and takes up 100% of CPU usage when playing Renegade. I haven't always had this problem, but I'm not sure what's causing it either. It could've been just be a new virusscanner update, but who knows, worth a try.
