Just wondering i have the beta and it is a very cool game. Forces can control enemy bases and the control of bases changes all the time. The downside is no one ever wins.

Its worth the monthly payment. Think about it is it cheap to host a 5000player server 24/7 with tech support and no down time, you really think they will make profit on such a complex game of just selling it...

The reason Sims Online wasn't a hit like the rest of "The Sims" titles was the fact that youo had to pay a monthly fee to play. It might start out ok, but I bet in the end, they'll still end up losing money on it. No one wants to keep paying for a game every month, *especially* when you have to pay $50 just for the game.

I wouldn't pay a monthly fee even if my comp could run the game. Not worth it in my eyes. Spending 1/4 of the purchasing price per month just to play it. I am content with normal FPSs anyway. I doubt this persistant world is worth much. The world domination system in RA2 was a persistant world until the end of the turnament month. And that was free.

Id pay, and i plan on paying when i get it MMORPG or in PS case MMOFPS are big business

What a bullshit. PS looks beter then renegade. You got to work as a team way beter and the sig up is bullshit because they got all ready sended out 20.000 emails for the open beta and then in the closed beta there are all ready a few thousand. so stop lying if you are a renegade ass kisser and never played PS or you are to dumb for it. PS will do beter then renegade and because you pay monthly you will also get very cool patches.
