That's desert camouflage not forest camouflage, you may notice they are in a desert not a forest Razz

. The orange tip is a dust cover for the rifle, as grains of sand can seriously fuck up a rifle’s firing mechanism (See Gallipolis assault in WWII)

I know, but why orange?

You'd think it would be a different color. It looks like a toy gun with that on.

To make it obvious that it is on there so it won't be forgotten to remove it. Firing a weapon with the barrel obstructed can cause it to backfire or explode.
