i couldnt keep repairing the strip all by myself, i was loosing it, so i ran to the pt, order a stealthtank, pay for it, run outside: "Nod Airstrip destroyed!" just in time i thought... when is the \%$#!@\%@# plane coming? ![[Mad]](mad.gif) no money, no tank. this shouldnt be possible.
people keep this in mind

Why shouldnt it? At the momenf of payment you sign a contract with NADI ("Nod Air Delivery Incorporated"). NADI tries to deliver your vehicle and surely you can not sue them when there is no airstrip to deliver it anymore. After all, they had expenses for the fuel, the transport costs, the pilot, etc.
Live with it: Loosing an airstrip is a bad, bad thing.

my note?!? well i think it is ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) it's a really good tactic NOT to buy a vehicle when your strip is almost gone. just thought i would share that with u.

hmmm 0 it's even worse when you buy something - run out to get it and then get killed just as you try to get in....

Not sure if I remember everything correctly but I am almost positive that last night on Canyon. (such an unfair map for Nod IMHO) our airstrip got pound from the 50 million mammys out there and I know, just know, that we are going to lose it, so I got in, bought a tank and here is the kicker:
I think the airstrip got blown up but my tank still arrived! Not sure how it happened, maybe just lag, I was really shocked.

Heh,I remember ths time on islands where Nod was losing,so I somehow got in the GDI base as shotgunner just for SAG. Then I noticed a Med tank rolling out of the factory. An engy ran out of the barracks twords it. 2 shots later I had a free tank!
I got the factory AND the refinery before they took me down. (They were nmostly all over attackinh our base.)

sometimes, if the vehicle is almost on the pad when the airstrip goes, you will be able to see the overlay box around emty air.

You can also purchase/change chars from a PT after you are already dead. Sometimes you can even see your already dead body change from soldier to Mobius right in front of your eyes as your soul floats off to the heavens.
