EA actually listened to consumer opinion :/, you can install ra3 on up to 5 computers and it can be reinstalled and uninstalled as many times as you like however you must be connected to the internet so the uninstall can be declared. I'm ok with this method
as there is no longer a limit to installation as long as you uninstall correctly.
I think this was a result of the backlash against that spore game that would only allow 3 installs Very Happy

Holy cow man you did not read my previous post. It was based on that scheme that I had plans to pre-order the Premier version.

But no, EA retracted that statement. Once you have installed the game for the 5th time, the automatic activation WILL FAIL and you will have to call EA Customer Service.

Chris Corry, on behalf of EA, said initially that connected to the internet would give you back an installation count. But he admitted it was a "mistake" and retracted his statement.

In short, just forget this game and boycott it. I am not going to spend $60+ on a rental only to buy the same game over again after the 5 installation limit runs out. I am not calling Customer Service (what a joke!).

Oh and how long do you think the authentication servers will be online? Will they be online 10 years from now? I don't think so.
