That's actually true, I installed ATI's Catalyst drivers on my Vista machine, I had X1550 at the time, instead it detected as X1300, I've done nothing wrong fyi.

There is nothing wrong. The X1550 series IS the X1300 series. They took the X1300 and renamed it X1550 to make it sound better. That's it.

On my parents Vista computer with an X1300, the drivers say ATi Radeon X1300/X1550 series or something like that if I remember right.
