N00bstories and other servers requiring Renguard say I am not using renguard, but I do have it installed.

I have never installed cheats or Mods, I can play renegade fine with and without the Data CD. (Command and Conquer Collection)

When I start Renegade I get the renguard pop-up and it minimizes into the tray, but when I play it says no renguard and now I always get kicked when there is a RG-Dump (Renguard dump).

Does anyone else have this problem? Or is there anything extra I should post to receive help?

Problem on both Win XP and Win Vista although not Win 2K.
