It's simplified to the point that it's one or the other. Something has "always existed", or nothing has "always existed". Even in your "other options" they all included something that always existed, infinity, or didn't include it. Is it there or is it not? Only two potential answers.

Otherwise you'd be saying "There are no absolutes".

Assuming a religion believes God is infinite, yes that would probably make the religion somewhat correct. Not necessarily entirely correct, if some of the beliefs contradicted that premise. I doubt any human belief could entirely grasp every detail of God anyway. Even getting away from that, each religion probably sees a little part of the grand whole and understands that piece of the puzzle. Unless someone founded the religion in a deliberate attempt to deceive...

It is an interesting observation on the inability of humans to comprehend the infinite. Big Grin
