i cant get my server side mods to work
like change a guns ammo by selecting it OR changing its model
and chage guns on a tank like ob gun instead pf rockets
and changing gun settings

some mods show up ones like the ones above wont
and the funny thing is they used to when i dud modding a few months back

would it be hard to add a laser to a gun so it like goose to where the aim is to where ever it hits a wall?


like i wanna hide my hud but aim goes away i wanna be able to try to learn to add a laser to where the aim was at and stops when it hits a wall like a real life laser aim on a rifle...

This is great and helps alot before i did not know how to use the buttons Thumbs Up

There was one little problem tho. When you edit the scripts on the button and add the JFW_Prset_Buy_poke your parameters are differnt to the ones i got. on where it says name you got PresetName, Cost, Player_Type but i got PresetName, Cost, Location, Player_Type. i tried leaveing the Location blank but i do not get the weapon i added is there any way to fix this problem?

Here is my first model that I would like to put into renegade, or more accurately, Reborn. If you want to unwrap it, download it, and if you want to skin it, I'll send you some sample pictures of what the model looks like.

btw: its a 1972 trans am.

EDIT: The scale seems to be screwed up, if someone could show me how to change the entire model to inches, instead of meters, that would be greatly appreciated. Blush

error C2220: warning treated as error - no 'object' file generated

I have tried a multitude of things but still that error shows up even if I delete the line it will show up on the next line that uses obj
If I remove that one line giving the error it just moves to another line
and the thing is when I remove that line it starts giving errors on the unmodifed SSGM Source.




it should be the same as the one in the link above unless my friend edited it if that case i can send someone the code or just post it here...

"JFW_2D_Sound_Damage_Range (when the health goes within the range, it will
play a sound, when the health goes back outside it will reset so that it

has a bug, I guess....? It seems, that it does NOT reset, when health goes outside the
range....

it works only 1 time....

or do I have made a mistake?

I want to have the "Object repaired"-Sound.

"Object under attack" and "Object killed" works great with "JFW_2D_Sound_Damage..."

Hi,

I've been making a destroyable object but every time i put it in a map the game crashes at load.

It works fine in renX when i play it.
It plays ok in W3D viewer (except i cant see its texture there)
It loads Ok in LE from what i gather too (i can see it at least)

I've made a building controller for it as well, but haven't bothered sticking it in as it seems that the animated model crashes with or without it anyway

I removed the damage aggregates because i thought they caused it, but no joy.

What is the best method of importing Animated models into LE and then into maps? I think i may be naming the parts wrong in renX or setting it up wrong in LE but i don't know what the naming conventions are.

Does anyone have any ideas or guidance? Its just a simple destroyable model, not a building or anything

I just found out how to get LE to work for The First Decade and made my first little map. I tested it and it worked. But then I tried to add a weapon spawner and it made me fall though map over and over. I made two new tiny test maps and the same thing happend all three times. At first it makes me fall... then it just makes me hang there and I can't do anything. Dont Get It

Can anyone help me with my problem?

It would be greatly appreciated. Big Grin

both reb's work with a chat hook i put in the script for testing.

when i go ingame and im promoted to Brigadier, the reb_Nod_reinforcements is activated but when i replace it with reb_GDI_a10_strike and im promoted to Brigadier it wont activate the airstrike script.

can you someone explain this please?

We have recently created the Atrides Refinery, for the Battle For Dune mod www.battlefordune.co.uk , and rigged it. It works ingame, but only some sectons of it. It is named properly but the building controller only seems to agree with some of the building. Has anyone had this problem before?

Once the World Wide Gaming community recovers from the past month of stress and load of problems that erupted we will begin to create public server-side modifications for people.

I will offer any help that I can with Level Edit, but since RenForums does such a good job at it already I'll mainly focus on producing server-side modifications. If anyone has suggestions they can post them on my forum (once we update and fix it). If anyone has ideas for a modification they want made then they're welcome to come and post about it and I'll try my best to get a modification made and released in a reasonable amount of time.

Before we begin making modifications we will be re-opening our past AI Bot Spawner list project and revising it. From what I've learned all you really need is one or two AI Bot Spawners per character maximum. I'll be putting up a tutorial on why you only need 1-2 spawners per character bot and how to set them up the way you want in a co-op, or whatever. We'll make sure that this time there's no server-side glitches like on the old World Wide Help Server Side Mod & AI Bot Spawner list. We'll be completely restarting the project from scratch since there won't be much to add to it.

WARNING: Our forum isn't ready for new members yet, we're moving our database to an officially stable version of phpBB 3.0.0 on a new folder on our FTP so please wait until I return with the 'OK' before joining and posting your suggestions or ideas for your own modifications.
