erm... I thought the " Wink " would make it evident that I was making a joke, not insulting.

My apologies if it was too subtle.

Ah, it's Kirby.

That explains it all... and I blame the custom name changes for this.

A new poll for all your Renegade fanboy needs.

Make no mistake kiddies: This will be the best thing to hit Command and Conquer for some to come.

The greatest coders, a fully canon-compliant and approved plot, single and multiplayer modes that exceed current FPS studio releases and brand new music in the same vein as Frank Klepacki.

Remember how long it takes a "real" studio to create a base product (westwood took YEARS to complete renegade at its base level) when you complain we are taking too long. We are business professionals, parents and full time students yet we forge on.

This is our dream. This is our passion.

We are RENEVO's Dead6 team and we will create a superior experience.

AND IT'S FREE TO CRYSIS OWNERS....

Dante, what can we reveal?

It will be fun, it will explain a lot, it will be canon, and it will be finished.

Not to say Crysis itself isn't interesting, but I'll be buying Crysis becuase of this.

When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris is the reason why Waldo is hiding.

When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.

Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door.

Stupid High-End pc needed for Crysis. Angry

Why didn't you use the Source engine!

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

The mod sound's great, but do you have any assets (models, skins) done or is it just in the planning stages?

We are in asset planning & design right now, i would say that we have 2 "done" vehicles waiting on textures, about 5-6 weapons "done" waiting on textures, and other assets in various stages.

While the art team is going nutz, the code team is preparing all of the code, and the level team is starting to build some libraries of useful scripts and tools.

Will people need to by Crysis to play this, or will you be permitted to distribute a stand-alone?

Sounds like Dante is hoping for a buyout like Counter-Strike.

That isn't our plan and it's not likely at all, but if it did happen I personally would be a happy camper.

Its because Renegade's unique C&C mode is the main reason that people continue to play this game even after newer and "better"(in some ways) games have come out.. such as BF2, etc. and you asked what people anticipate the most. ^^

I was the only one who voted for it... I did so because I thought C&C mode would have been a given. Renegade needed a proper co-op anyway.

Hey, a great storyline with a well developed dialog and gameplay will beat out multiplayer any day as far as I am concerned.

Agreed. I replay single player missions long after multiplayer takes a nosedive. Probably a bit of programming from the days when c&c came out and there was no multiplayer at all.

Y'know. Back when "Pentium" was a new word, and video cards were nonexistent......

I would spend hours trying to get that Nod strike force to the base intact before the GDI med caught up.....
