Why?

I was going to keep my vote private but I knew someone would bitch about my decision (not you).

Over the last year or so I decided I would not contribute to this forum and decided I would just read what people would have to say. Why I did this was because the amount of arguments being thrown around. You couldn't even have a discussion without someone slating your grammar, it came to a point where I thought it was a waste of time and I still do think it's a waste of time.

Deadfive, I remember when you joined this forum. Everyone hated you for what you posted. I personally didn't mind what you had to say regardless if you made over 5 topics in one day. But the way people reacted to you was wrong and they should've solved the problem themselves by ignoring you - as they should with nopic.

I read the ToS and to my knowledge nopic hasn't done much wrong. Sure, he posts crap often but what’s stopping people from ignoring him. I could name a handfull of people who post obscene, vulgar, hateful and threatening message and those are the people who I would prefer to have banned. I feel bad when new people join here and some idiot has to make some cocky comment.

Those clowns (or were they called e-terrorists?) caused more harm to this forum than nopic has.

Until nopic posts something obscene, vulgar, hateful or threatening I will let Crimson know that I want my vote changed.

Deadfive grew out of it in a matter of a month or so. Nopic has been this way for what has it been now, 2-3 years? Sure, the name "nopic" and his current variation of that name haven't been around for nearly as long, but remember "taslayer"? That's who we so uneffectionately call "nopic". He is/was a cheater, problematic, and has been nothing but a nuisance. Sure, we've had plenty of other nuisances, but they've at least left or grew up (for the most part). However, this isn't the case with nopic.

When we realized this, we stopped, did we not? We actually had a decent mission to our posting, though it was poorly thought out and executed. Not to mention it didn't last more than 3-4 days. We haven't been nuisances for years. Each separate individual, you can disagree with (such as myself, as I know how much you LOVE me Wink), however, as a group, we didn't do anything for any lengthy period of time.

Voted yes. Nothing personal, nopic, but sometimes it is better just to keep your trap shut- and you haven't learned where that line is in all the time you've been a member here, and that's pretty pathetic. Find somewhere else to post the nonsense, please.

Side note: this ban-by-democracy thing is pretty cool. It's nice to see community input being put to work.

"Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived of the use of them." - Thomas Paine

Remember, kids: illiteracy is cool. If you took the time to read this, you are clearly a loser who will never get laid. You've been warned.

Yes. Not so much because I hate him, but because anytime he makes a post morons flood the thread with "lol kill yourself" or "omg you suck and are so stupid."

I'd rather get rid of that then outright ban nopic.

I think that as a community containing so many people, it's quite natural to have a certain amount of individuals that do not get along, it's also quite normal to have a minority that is disliked by the main chunk of people.

But at the end of the day if you know you are doing something annoying or offensive - let me just clear this up abit, being a moron can be offensive to some people, but those who don't find it offensive don't understand why.... but racists don't understand why it's offensive to those who aren't...it's called ignorance!- Some people find grammar Nazi's (Jake In Love ) annoying and offensive too (I know I hate it, this isn't school, my grammar isn't life or death, I couldn't care if this should be capitalized or a comma is missing from half my sentences, if you can read it or understand it who the hell cares?)

But you generally get the gist that people find how you conduct yourself as annoying and offensive by the way they react to you! I.E Flaming, cussing and general abuse... so stop doing it....

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what people vote here. The admin here (as with any forum, server, website etc) have the right to ban anyone person at anyone time for anyone reason....no arguments! If Crimson decides to ban him, there is nothing, you, I or the Queen of England can do to stop her!

I agree. I've been ignoring nopic and not even reading his threads, but I voted yes. Why? Because whenever he posts something annoying in any thread, everyone jumps down his throat like crazy instead of ignoring him, which throws the topic into the trash.
