the only reason the ps3 costs more is because it has more to offer tbh. It's $100 more than the Elite, but as the lowest model, it's pretty much better in every way, except for the HDD space. The Ps3 isn't being used to it's full potential at the moment, but Blu-Ray will carry it atleast 1 generation past the 360. Next-Gen xbox will pretty much be this gen Ps3...
And I'm not fanboy.. i already said i have both. The 360 is a great system, just it doesn't have much farther to go, it's pretty much being used to it's full potential.

Lol, you repeated what I said in that quote.
I said that it uses quality components and has a lot of gadgets.
But I also went on to say, I don't want those gadgets, but I would be forced to pay for them anyway.
For example, I have no need for a blueray disk player at this time.

Holy crap. If there is one video game company in the industry that has never heard the term "If it ain't broken, don't fix it!" it would have to be the Sonic Team.
Every freaking Sonic game they make is A NEW GENRE OF GAME! Even if the last one was a killer success, they still think it is a good idea to make the next one from scratch scrapping all the good ideas from the last game.
The last Sonic game I truly enjoyed was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. And that was released in 2002! That's 7 years of crappy Sonic games! (However, I'll admit, I thought Sonic Riders was fun, but it got old kinda fast... but it was a racing game)
And as for Mario, I don't really know, but I've seemed to have lost complete interest in him. I just don't find it entertaining anymore. When I was back in 1st and 2nd grade, Mario 64 was like the best game ever, now looking at my little brother play it (and him making me play it) it seems just totally different. A lot of my friends still go crazy when new Mario games come out, but I just don't see what the fuss is about.
For example, a few of my friends thought that The New Super Mario Bros. for the DS was an excellent game, but I found it so boring that I stopped playing after the 3rd level and sold it to someone else.
..Come to think of it, I have Mario Galaxy for Wii and I haven't played that in like a year... I really should continue playing that.. lol

i was actually considering purchasing ps2 just to play god of war. that game is amazing and i was addicted to it for a while so i kept coming over to my buddies house lol.
i will probably have this urge again when G.O.D 3 comes out, ofcourse it will be for ps3

My wife and I have a PS3. We find ourselves using it 99% of the time for playing Blu-Ray and renting movies off the online rental system they have. I have a ton of games, but haven't really played any of them since I'm to busy. Not sure why I buy so many games, I guess I always think maybe 1 game will get me hooked and make me play more...

let's see if you'll be saying that when game developers move to the ps3 because of it's huge storage capacity and xbox fails! i just know that's what's gunna happen, and I don't have a lot of money to buy another xbox..

Shouldn't this poll be called 'Which non-handheld current generation console(s) do you have' since it doesn't include any handheld or previous generation consoles.
