I dont know how to post an SS, but the SAFE INSTALL RENGUARD said that I need to Re-Install RenGuard, but how?

No you don't need to reinstall RG if you are in the process of installing it.

Open up your Renegade directory,

-Change game.exe to game2.exe
-Copy _game.exe from the safe installer package to the Renegade directory and rename it to game.exe
-And copy htmllayout.dll to your Renegade directory.

Launch Renegade as you usually would. RG will come up and you will connect to the RG network. Simply click on the Renegade button to play.

Lol thanks for your help, but I don't know how to open up the Renegade Directory, help yet again, lol. See I play Renegade, I don't mess with it :eh:

You dont need to reinstall anything. You just unzip the zipfile to your renegade directory, and read the Readme.First!!!.txt file. It tells you the rest.

Dangit, it wont start up when I start Renegade PERIOD, this is a prob, now I wont be able to play new servers that have renGuard, I need ALOT of help!

Okay I named Game.exe to Game2.exe and _Game.exe to Game.exe (which I did along time ago) and I put in the HTML layout, but whenever I click on Game.exe It says "RenGuard wasnt installed Corectly, Re-Install it" That is all I need to do, and I have been asking that, so how do I re-install RenGuard?

just uninstall rengaurd then reinstall it

TO uninstall

start>settings>control panel> add/remove programs

pick it from the list and totally unistall it

Go back to the download page

Pick which one will suit you the best(U shouldnt pick safe install if it messed u up before Shocked

)

Ok i just picked mirror 2 under the 1st set of three and i HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS Very Happy

Save it do your desktop Shocked

once done downloading it double click on the icon

follow directions (its easy)

then just launch ren like normal

MAKE SURE IT SAYS WELCOME(WOL NAME)

Well I went to Add-Remove Programs alot, but yet it wont work.
I would click "Remove" and all it does is not come off...
