heh.. I think someones upset!

Quote:

I can't fucking belive EA give this power hunger whore the offcial website.
whatever, people hate her enough to release cheats under her name, so she can do whatever the hell she wants with he stupid ass community. ITS NOT THE RENEGADE COMMUNITY, ITS CRAMSON"S community.

Power hungry? How?

As far as it is, only a select few (if not just one) release a cheat in her name, as well as many other people. Msgtpain, Aircraftkiller, and a few others all had their names involved. Don't see how this all leads to Crimson being power hungry...

And so far, she hasn't "done what she's wanted" regarding the community, OR this forum. Once again, the number of people on this forum who have problems with her, continue to have the ability to post here.

Though I think saying Crimson owns the Renegade community is a large compliment to her activeness in it!

Of course she's power hungry. She snatched up these forums as soon as WS died and now she has the ability to remotely control many servers with RenGuard, although most are empty. As if that isn't enough, she tried to expand into other games, not so sure how that went...I'm sure that was to "help the community" too.

On a side note, good job to the rest of you...
Crimson

As I said before, please explain how she can remotely control Renegade servers, and I'll gladly uninstall Renguard.

Snatched up the forums? Wait.. I forgot... wasn't it Westwood that GAVE them to her? I mean, it's not like she was the only one who asked...

As for the server control "issue" I'm sure if she did that, RenGuard would fail miserably, as the only servers she would be able to control would be those who ran it. If it came down to banning people who are using cheats, and being at the mercy of some evil empire messing with their server, I'm quite sure most people would choose to deal with the cheaters.

They have the ability to "globally ban" people from every server connected to the RG network, as well as the ability to send messages to each, and probably to get the detailed game info from each. I don't even see why a master server is needed, RG is supposed to catch everyone anyway...It must be another control thing.

Effective moderation deals with cheaters just fine, something you people never quite learned...

It doesn't take a lot to get detailed game info from any server as it is anyway... There's a bot in the n00bsvr mod channel that can get game info from any server on WOL.

That just repeating what I stated... which for some reason you seem to find the need to argue it nonetheless. Moderators do a fine job, so if RenGuard is going to pose a problem, servers won't use it. if enough servers don't use it, eventually all of them won't as people won't have the application needed to join as they can easily play somewhere else.

They have the ability to "globally ban" people from every server connected to the RG network

Why would they have a reason to globally ban someone? The only thing that would even consider a global ban is someone who is attempting to exploit Renguard itself.

Scrumfy

as well as the ability to send messages to each

The same message is sent to ALL the servers, it doesn't simply target one. Besides, I don't think Crimson or anybody in Renguard are going to send a global saying "OMG LEIK SCRUMFY SUX BECUZ HE H8S RENGUARD!!!11"

Scrumfy

and probably to get the detailed game info from each.

And what is so wrong about getting detailed game info?

Scrumfy

I don't even see why a master server is needed, RG is supposed to catch everyone anyway...It must be another control thing.

A master server is needed to auto update Renguard, to fix any new bugs that may arise and implement new features. It would be very annoying to tell everybody to redownload the new version of Renguard when they can simply have the master server auto-update it for them.

EDIT: Fixed a few typos.

And you have the ability to globally make an ass of yourself, post senseless drivel and irritate a lot of people.

So... What makes anyone want to trust you, or believe what you say, unless they're already a half-wit clown looking for any reason to cry wolf?

Yeah, it's "okay" to believe you... But it's not "okay" to believe Crimson, because she obviously didn't earn our trust, but you "did" somehow...
