Ok, well I finally got my 128MB 9600 today (w00t!) and it's fucking fabulous. But I have already run into a problem.

After I installed my card. my computer wasn't picking up my sound card. I tried so many different things: Re-installing the drivers, disableing unused ports, reseting the system config in the bios, and receting the card many different times... but to now avail.

Alas, I think I may have to completely whipe my computer tomorrow. I do not want to do this, so if there is anything you think I can do to fix this, lemme know.

Well, on the bright side of this, every computer needs a fresh start every now and then. I might as well do it now lol.

System Specs:
Windows XP Pro
700mHz Celeron
128MB 9600 Radeon

When I installed the Radeon 9600 (Pro) I also ran into problems. After a few minutes of playing a 3D game the computer would freeze and the sound would loop. Thus I had to keep restarting it. But I think I have the problem fixed now as I can play Prince of Persia without crashing aftfer changing a few things in the BIOS.

I guess the problem fixed itself. It was probably an IRQ issue because when I turned on my computer this morning everything was fine. Oh well.
