It was entertaining. LOL It is wierd playing on a server that I can't kick on. I think I did pretty good, considering I had my daughter in my arms.

Lol. You too? Baby keeps wanting to eat the phone cord on the desk...

Thanks for your input to Jarhead,K9, and Joroe.

Again I ask, do you have kids?

My personal life has nothing to do with this is any way. So don't go there.

Actually, in perspective of what the conversation needs for debate, it is relevant. A man with no children cannot truly understand the bond.

If you must know I have five....yeah five and it is not relevant to respecting another mans decision. As I have said from the beginning, right or wrong, good or bad, or whether we like it or not it was his and only his to make. I stand by my opinion on this matter and you or nobody else will ever change it.

Relax, I'm not trying to. I don't like it, but as I stated earlier I know I cannot change it. I must say I'm suprised to know this though, knowing your opinion, and knowing the situation. The whole concept of loyalty, love, and self sacrifice START in the home with the family, of which the father is the head.

You just don't get it do you? All I am saying is I RESPECT the right for this man to make his own decision about something in his life, PERIOD!. And now you turn around and insult me personally. Looking between the lines I see you are now saying I am not a "good" family man/father? because of my opinion on this?. Mad I am done with this conversation and with you Mr Kirby.

*sigh*

Whatever.

You assume far too much, and I think you dug your heels in long ago to decide this course of action. I stated awhile back that I understood your point, but disagreed. I even thanked you for your opinion earlier. Now it comes to this.

Fine. Draw whatever conclusions that you must to justify your anger. In the end, you've only alienated yourself for absolutely no reason other than a differing opinion.

Good day, Marine.

 And here I thought the end was going to be peaceful. I understood you Kirby, and thank you for a neat topic for some military people to debate. I thought it was going good until the end. Oh well. Confused

Well Kirby, is the wife expecting or was it a false alarm?

Did you know that you can be patriotic, and still not believe rhetoric at the same time?

The One

Thats a dashing good point. If you could state where in my post I said anything about being patriotic I'd be most pleased. If not I'll go ahead and remove your words from my mouth. Thanks.

Ok, so I'm guessing by your smartass remark, that even though the last three previous posts to yours referred to patriotism, and you quoted a remark referring to patriotism, you decided to post an opinion, and remark on a conversation, with something totally off base to what we were talking about?

Seems foolish to me to complain then about being misquoted. Pick your battles wisely.
....
Oh, and by the way, are you a veteran? No? Ok, bye bye then.

First : You started (and continue) w/the smart ass comments...I just replied in kind.

Second : The paragraph I quoted mentioned patriotism but I didn't address that point in my reply therefor making your statement to *me* about patriotism irrelevant.

Third : My statement does not require I be a Vetern to hold the knowledge required to say : "Correction, our country has already been invaded and the attacks have been going on for years. "

Forth : No I am not a Vetern. Is this is the sole premise you wish to use to undermine my statement that we have already been invaded/under attack? If so I suggest finding better counterpoints to something based on fact, not opinion. Fact : See World Trade center bombing #1, Atlanta Olympic bombing..you see where this is going, right ?

Fifth : Your not even the person I was refering to in my post about the USA already being invaded/attacked -- It was Jarhead's post I replied to.

Sixth : It's not off topic to point out that we have been invaded and are currently under attack from the same 'type' or 'group' of people who have been waging a war against us for years since Jarhead used THAT POINT as his reason to not go.

My entire points were a)we were invaded years ago b)we have been under attack for years. This was supose to be an accepted side bar. You have turned 'this' into what you presently see before you on your screen.

I grow so fucking tired of having to do this

By all means send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE & we can do this on our own time.

ps. Do unto other as you would have them do unto you. You treat me with respect and you'll find yourself being treated in a respectfull manner.

People do not like to think. If one thinks, one must reach conclusions. Conclusions are not always pleasant.
