Keyboard - Mouse stop functioning [message #490003]

Tried to join a server via renlist, the launcher did an update, I joined the server but now once I join my keyboard or mouse isn't functional. To test the keyboard and mouse (just making sure) I installed a clean install of ren and fired it up outside of renlist without any tt update and went into multiplayer practice and everything worked fine. Then I did the 4.1 update once again the launcher did another update, joined multiplayer practice (happens in servers as well) and I'm back to being able to only join but nothing functions. It's not locked up because the "u" key and f11 key works. Not even ESC works. I have to alt tab out and close the game via task manager.

Update: I copied the roaming and my documents Renegade directories from a machine that worked fine replacing the ones on the machine that had issues and that seemed to fix this problem. So some file in one of those directories got boofed that caused the issue.

All you had to do was delete the file called config.dat from the renegade documents folder and it would of fixed the problem.
