Not sure but I think the mixcheck didn't give me the right maps during the installation. I couldn't join any servers except MPF.

I downgraded to one of the earlier 4.1 updates for the time being.

4.1 tries to auto update to the latest version, so it might have already bumped you forward.

try installing the tiberian technologies 4.1 installer and running it again.

The server mixcheck fetches the files from was down for a while, perhaps it affected you. Try running mixcheck.exe or reinstall.

The issue seems to have resolved itself. I went back to a previous 4.1 version, then went forward to the current version. I'm not 100% sure if this is what fixed it.

The same thing happened to Fr3nchFry from TmX. He said someone had to send him the standard map files.
