WOL Password incorrect - Renlist problem [message #489539]

Recruit

I am trying to start up Renegade again using Renlist but I cannot use the WOL feature because It says I have an invalid password. I used the password from
http://xwis.net/game-account/
That didn't work. Xwis.net does not give me an option to input a serial for renegade. I'm using the nickname I made on Xwis.net and it still won't accept the info. What am I doing wrong? I have read the support guides and they didn't help me to my problem.

And over WOL you can connect?

I tested it and for me it works. Are you sure u typed that password exactly?

You dont need put in renlist serial at least for me works without serial.

I think entering serial you can only on new xwis forum account but not sure. Olaf will know it.

no it Still will not work. I type in the nick from Xwis and the password it gave me. They still didn't work.

I use vancer2 as my nick and then the alpha numerical "Game password" from Xwis as well. I also enter my serial in the Renlist Settings menu for WOL Is this the correct usage? Or Do i need to use the password from the Forum account I made?

Did you try resetting your password on game-account? If you do that a few times it should work. Also check your serial that you put in, it could be wrong.

To avoid this XWIS bs, you could use the GSA tab instead. You don't need anything but a correct folder path in the settings.

I tried the GSA but when It starts renegade It says Name too short

Nvm got the GSA to work.

The WOL part is probably broken because your RenList is outdated. Go to Help -> Check for updates on your renlist to update it. The WOL feature should then work again.
