Jelly no longer appears on my server list.

I have Ren IP to access servers with the latest 4.whatever scripts, but jelly no longer shows up on the renIP server list. I did not know where else to post this question.

So my real question is, is there another server listing utility, or how can I bypass renIP and connect directly?

I know there are still games being played on jelly marathon because I have their IRC channel, and I can see games being played- I just cannot get to them!

Any ideas?

If RenIp uses GSA it's likely they finally got around to shutting down the master servers. Try using RenList instead, that supports the new community GSA server.

renIP has no list, works the same as adding C:\Westwood\Renegade\Renegade.exe +connect 69.162.65.2:8113 (for jelly) to the taget in a rengade shortcut.

GameSpy is still online but not listing jelly I think he is probably using an old version of renlist.

See I don't understand ;_; I need to look at the plugin with Wireshark or something, but it was working fine before and it clearly says it's broadcasting to both master servers.

This is correct. I was mistaken, I was using RenList v1.0.3

I have now downloaded the latest version of RenList - v1.07. I now have a new problem: the connect button does not work, and when I double click on a server I get an error message that says "Renegade executable does not exist." After I got this error, I went back to RenList v1.0.3 and that has no such error message.... but then I have the same problem, no Jelly.

So now, I have 2 versions of RenList on my computer. 1.0.3 where I cannot view / connect to the Jelly server, and 1.07 where I can see all the servers, but cannot connect to any of them. Any ideas?

Under renlist goto options->settings then just set your Renegade Executable to the location of your renegede.exe

Also, since you have RenList already to begin with, you could just use your old RenList and update it. Help -> Check For Updates. RenList should then automatically update to the latest one.

Jelly has been showing on 1.07 properly and not 1.05 for a while now. It may be Jelly's setting are correct Eth. All the other servers are showing on both except for Jelly.

You guys forgot what RenIP was? It used to be pretty popular, and did not use a masterserver.

Oh god, that's straight like Visual Basic .NET isn't it. Yuck!

However, that will work quite fine as long as you save your servers in the list.
