Infinite editing[ 32 votes ]
1. Yes 27 / 84%
2. No 5 / 16%

I'm seriously kinda annoyed by the change of the editing policy tbh. Having said that, I do understand the thought behind this change but I'd still like it to be reverted.

If infinite editing will not be re-enabled, it would be nice if you can at least edit your post indefinitely if it is the last post in the topic. This way there is no need for double posting if you just want to add some relevant information to your post.
Also, it would seem the mods are not too active in the support forums near the bottom (I've seriously not seen any of the listed moderators of those forums in weeks/months), which would be handy without the infinite editing. I have a sticky there which I would've updated myself if the infinite editing was still possible but since this is no longer possible, I need a mod to do this for me Sad
Also updating your topic with a text 'resolved' and a maybe a link to the post that solved it can no longer be done. This is just for ease of problem solving for the next guy with the same issue though, so of less importance imo; he could just read the topic.

TL;DR? (seriously??? Sarcasm )
Bring infinite editing back please. If not, at least infinite editing if your post is the last in the topic.

It was removed because people were abusing it to change the context of a post after subsequent replies were made to that post or simply because it made them look bad.

Well can I have the ability to edit posts after an infinite amount of time again? If I release something and it has bugs people might still download it lol because I can't edit my post..

Make a special forum group that allows infinite editing for people that didn't abuse it Thumbs Up Satisfied
Or at the very least make sure some active mods are assigned to each forum. Maybe there is a need for additional mods?
Still prefer being able to infinitely edit them myself though. No need to bother any mods and it's up-to-date as fast as possible Big Ups

And I think allowing infinite editing on your post if it's the last in the topic shouldn't be a problem.

Link to a downloads page on your website and just update the page with the latest version, all links remain permanently up to date that way.

Well, I do... I can only enable it (with a time limit) or disable it. I can't do it on a forum-by-forum basis. I guess I'll just go by the results of the poll.

I'm the bawss.

Maybe an update already exists for FUD forums to make this possible? Are we anywhere near a recent version of it?

If what you say happens, most quote so even if someone changes something, it will still be in someone's quoted post just making them look more the fool.

So basically, every time you post you've proven this point (that you're an e-suckup who wants an e-janitor position everywhere) time and again.

Well this topic is still going on. I have to say I haven't watched much Anime recently (maybe a year or so) the last thing I saw was GITS (for the third time)

Im not too sure whether I just dont enjoy Anime anymore or whether its just I dont have time really to shit and watch it.
