If there's both a player called 'ro' and one called 'roooooon', I can't pm 'ro' because it autocompletes the name to rooooon.

I will make it prefer the player with the shortest name in auto-completion. That should solve the issue.

Can't you just remove the text added by the auto-completion?
I used to do that to PM the shorter named guy.

Shortest name first would be better Thumbs Up

I tried that, if you press spacebar it auto-completes for the longest nick.

Hmm pressing backspace used to work.

EDIT: Ok I just had to test it and it indeed doesn't work anymore.
