After numerous requests by players we decided to put online a server that will run Westwood maps.
We thought of mixing it with the NewMaps server but that would make it a Mixed server and not a "new maps" server.
So here it is: UltraAOW.com Westwood 4.0

Server Information
XWIS Nickname = a0000000x
RenList Title = UltraAOW.com Westwood 4.0
IP & Port = 208.115.196.18:8000

4.0 Requirement
Scripts Update 4.0 is required to play on this server, don't have it yet? Get it at http://www.tiberiantechnologies.org/

The Maps
The maps are stock 2002 Westwood maps and have not been modified in any way.

Unit Veterancy
There is a veterancy system running on the server which grants you reward points for repairing, destroying, disarming and killing things.
When you collect certain amounts of points your character will level up and you unlock commands and get extra health or regeneration abilities and even stealthing while standing still.

Special Crates
There are however special crates on this server such as the feared Shake and Shake Team crate, Spy crate and some others.

Special Powerups
There are a dozen special powerups with their own appearance for identification.
The most notable and wanted powerup is probably the ObiGun which grants you the Obelisk Weapon for 3 minutes.

Taunts & Stolen Vehicles
When you connect to the server your client will download ~20mb package which contains the special taunts,
and the stolen vehicle models we use on the server. When you steal an enemy vehicle they will be tainted with your coloring and/or team logo's.
This feature was made possible with the help of Reaver11 who created them.

The server is reporting ingame events in our IRC channel at irc.ultraaow.com in channel #mpf-westwood

We also highly recommend the use of Teamspeak 3 on our ts.ultraaow.com as it makes communication between players very easy.
