Quite frankly, I don't know why this kind of thing wasn't blocked in the very first TT release. Whitedragon was testing methods of blocking stuff like spoofed kill messages for his DragonGuard serverside cheat detection program all the way back in 2006 or 2007.

Spoofed kill messages etc are blocked in BIATCH as well and thus in TT as well. However, different radio commands apparently not or that got lost in porting BIATCH to TT.
Edit:
Bit lame, boasting about a piece of software that never got released. Even more so when it took us a couple of days to create the first version and within a couple of weeks we were testing it on multiple servers. Not much after that we released the first version.

Wow, I forgot people LIKE to play on servers that they're banned for life on for making mistakes, instead of being allowed to play after a reasonable amount of time under the conditions they run 4.0 (if they were banned for cheating, anyway). Or of course, for instance, simply muting people for spamming radio commands instead of permanently banning them for "crashing the server" (but of course, our dedicated server isn't so puny as to not be able to handle radio commands, lol). We COULD do that, but we actually enjoy having a full server. Evidently, we're the only ones.
Also, we've always been quite lenient in our allowance of skins. GrimmNL (an old moderator) even had his own skins section of the website in which he made/uploaded many skins that would be considered blatant advantage skins on other servers. I suppose that's bad, but evidently the players appreciate it...
I think you got "removing cheaters" with "removing players." You know, hence my use of the term "inactive."
