I get this error when I try to load up a level file.

LEVELE~1.EXE - Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because ttle.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I looked and it's in my ren folder. Is there some place else it should be or do I have an incorrect registry somewhere?

I don't think it should be somewhere else, so the registry path is probably wrong. I'm not sure but I assume it reads from /Software/Westwood/Renegade/InstallPath (not sure whether it's HKLM or HKCU).

hm, interesting. SEye is definitely correct as changing my InstallPath value in the aforementioned key affects LE-- but interestingly enough I got no such errors... my LE simply froze upon loading the main screen.

But either way, I'd still bet an invalid registry key is your issue.
