Hey guys, I had the urge to start playing again for the first time in 5 years or so, I'm going to reinstall ren later today.
I was just wondering what i would need to play now.
Newest version of anti cheat?
Map packs?
Do the patches still download automatically?
Mods?

Last time I played it was all third party programs.
Also I only vaguely remember XWIS, please refresh my memory.

XWIS is the official replacement for WOL, it's a community-run WOL clone, when you log in to WOL in-game you'll automatically connect to the XWIS server(s).
Scripts 4.0 AKA "TT Patch" is the newest version of scripts.dll and contains tons of fixes for bugs in the game, new features, non-bypassed anticheat and an auto-map downloader (if the server you're connecting has this set up).
Long time and well respected Renegade community member, programmer, modder and tester.
Scripts 4.0 private beta tester since May 2011.
