he did continue to do it... and made all sorts of cartoonish e-threats at the same time
he did everything he possibly could to avoid a resolution to the problem he created (created by a long series of deliberate decisions he could've reversed at any point)
the one thing he didn't try was the advice i gave him right at the start, i.e. "just stop being such a mean lady". he'd see his own community completely wiped off renegade before he tried that, and yet the st0rm community still think he was their friend rather than their enemy... oh well

we don't treat him as a god or idol like all you hate mongerers have been implying...
its a game server.. free too.. no strings attached.. we wanted to play there because of the server mods, its that simple. We don't want the server because we love the owner, we want the server because the gameplay is fun... just because we're there doesn't mean we like the owner or approve of whatever acts he does.
its like.. how homeless people can hate the rich guy who made millions of people lose their homes and jobs... but they'll still go to a homeless shelter that's set up by the same rich guy. Its not like going there makes them worship him, they still hate his guts.. but they still need shelter.
and in this case, I still need entertainment, but it has been robbed from me. One of the main reasons to play on storm was the lack of ridiculous mvp/score/kdwhoring self-destructive gameplay that is encouraged on pretty much every other server I tried out. It's ridiculous but the gameplay on these servers (including jelly) actively encourages people to do stupid things like pointwhore when the enemy ref is down for an mvp rec/ladder, or waste time walking back to base slowly rather than die and respawn quickly for a kd rec, or intentionally lose the game before you lose your highest mvp/kd, or camp/sbh all day to avoid dying so you can keep your kd rec, and the list goes on and on. storm at least got rid of the rewards for mvp and kd, and uses a different ladder system that isn't pointwhore based (its more kill/repair whore based). Granted its not perfect, but at the very least the above examples of team hampering weren't so encouraged. nothing more annoying than telling some idiot to stop team hampering only to have him say "shut up noob, look at my awesome rank/ladder/recs/fame/etc that I got from these acts of team hampering." or something along those lines.

iran, your analogy doesn't make sense... you're making us sound like hired goons of an evil organization...
If playing on storm servers required players to go bomb other servers or take orders from wilo somehow then yes.. but here it doesn't. He's giving us money sure, but we're not listening to him. In no way does playing there force us to perform any evil actions or listen to anything he says.
When a homeless guy goes to a homeless shelter... he gets the services for free.. he doesn't have to kill someone or do any evil acts to get the services, or even listen to whoever set up the shelter. Same thing here, playing on his server doesn't mean I have to do whatever he tells me lol. If he tried that we'd just ragequit his server forever. Hence my analogy works way better. We're more like innocent people who are served by evil but aren't doing anything evil...

stop whingeing about how people don't have sufficiently high opinion of your "moral calibre"... how many times have you told wilo that his actions - both before and since the XWIS sanction - were killing st0rm? it wasn't anyone here who killed st0rm, it was wilo. he deliberately chose to see st0rm crumble rather than just stop e-attacking people. be honest now, did you make a serious attempt to tell him that? no, instead you rail on and on at the people who said "it's about time we stopped this". if you want your moral calibre to be recognised i must say i'm not impressed so far

but you're not stopping this at all... all you achieved was shut down the storm server.. that doesn't stop him from e-attacking whatsoever... if anything it encourages it more (no this is not a threat, its just an observation on human psychology)
for the record, I didn't tell him myself, because there's already plenty of other people doing exactly that and I don't have anything extra to add. I rail on here because I do have something extra to add... mainly logic and reason, which the mass hatred has left many blind to and causing them to commit logical fallacies like guilt by association or "you're either with us or with the terrorists" type of statements.
Lastly.. moral calibre should only be defined by what we do, not what we don't do. If its defined by what we don't do, then everyone here (and almost everyone on earth) is human scum because we should stop wasting our money on games and instead donate it all to the hungry and saving their lives rather than wasting it on cheap entertainment.

what's the name of the server? I can't find it on ren list
edit: I read that again more carefully.. you mean the once in a blue moon actual community wars? or is there some special server that regularly has this type of gameplay?
