LE 4.0 crashing trouble [message #462511]

I've had this issue with the new version of LE, whenever I go to try and go in walk around mode LE freezes and crashes every single time with a generic windows error message, any solutions?

Windows 7 btw

Now that I look more into it it appears as if there are no presets at all in LE. I heard you have to change the destination folder or something but I'm not really sure how this is done. I also am using the first decade version of ren if that makes a difference

I had a similar problem before too. It was caused by having installed mod tools for a Renegade mod (like Reborn or TCW). Somehow that version of LE caused the normal LE to have issues (empty preset trees, etc.) Uninstalling the mod LE and reinstalling the normal LE fixed this.
