It did! mainly due to people getting pissed off with random kids using RGH.
But now 4.0 is out surely a couple of old reneplayers will re play?
Clanwars were way more competitive and fun compared to pub servers

i, too, would like it if a proper 1v1 server with the official settings existed.
maybe i could do a tournament or something if someone could host a server for it. but who of the clanwars regulars still play post-4.0? me, hitman, mike and ion, seems to me.

tournaments only worked half the time back when the community was still vibrant, doing one now sounds like a terrible idea
simply a 2 player server with the good 1v1 maps (field, complex, volcano, islands, walls, canyon) for cool people to play and chill would suffice
