Hi folks! My name is JP & I'm looking for some info on playing Renegade so hoped someone on a forum like this might be able to help? Smile

My friends & I play Renegade via LAN every-so-often and since I'm the one who usually hosts it I was wondering if there were any extra maps or weapons/vehicles/bots that will work on the very old version of 1.037? Smile We love the C&C Universe of games & Renegade is our "break" from the RTS games so I'm keen to keep it interesting with some new maps or bots or traditional C&C vehicles. I've found 3 flying maps (Walls, Glacier & City I think it is?) but those are the only 3 we can use helicopters in so-far.

Any help'd be appreciated to keep this great old-skool game going/interesting! Thumbs Up We'll be having another LAN session tonight in about 9 hours too & I'm really looking forward to it! Very Happy

there are servers online where people are playing at all times of the day
the fan maps that i've seen with helicopters are generally too large for a small number of people

you could take all your LAN people and hop into the same renegade server, just pick one that has players in it Razz

Maybe he doesnt have access to internet or too slow of internet...

1.037 is our current version, there are 1000's of maps to choose from:

We do prefer you play online though, it helps our dwindling community grow a bit...or not die off so fast.
