Need an idiot proof instruction [message #456064]

Hi,

I used to play C&C Renegade a few years ago via Game Spy Arcade.

I recently bought C&C TFD and decided to play Renegade online once more.

The sad thing is I can't. Game Spy Arcade does not work (can't download stuff to enter Ranagade lobby) and I also can't log on to Westwood Online (never could actually, even the first time I played the game a few years back).

So, can someone write a step by step instruction on how to run Renegade online starting from a clean install from TFD?

1. Install Renegade.
2. Download and update to v1.037 if you haven't done so already.
3. Make a copy of your whole TFD Renegade folder (as backup for your scripts 4.0/TT Patch Beta install.
4. Install scripts 4.0/TT Patch Beta in one of those folders.
5. Download RenList from here: http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=38221&start=0&rid=2 5967
6. Use the GSA tab to find and connect to servers.
7. For WOL see: http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=37326&start=0&rid=2 5967

Download this

Where it says location point it towards your game.exe (Im not exactly sure where the exe is for TFD...)

Enter a name to use and then clink on the GSA tab and you'll see the servers.
