I cant reset my password is there anything wrong with xwis.

Quote:

To change the password for all nicks registered on your serial:

- Start renegade
- Log on xwis with the nick you want to reset the password for, using a bad password, you now should see an empty server listing
- Go to "chat" in the left side menu, this one should be empty as well
- Now type reset password in the channel you are
- You will receive a message from xwis with a new password for the account you tried to login with (condition: it needs to be registered on your serial)
- Done

I usually do that but no msg is popping up when i type reset password tried xwis tool as well seems to geting all the nicks from my serial but cant reset.

You have to login to that CP using an XWIS account. You can create a new one in Renegade and then you can login and register your serial.
You should be able to see all your nicks on that serial so you can delete some aswell, and a global XWIS pass should be displayed. That pass allows you to login to each of the nicks linked to your registered serial(s).

Using my Renegade account to login, I recovered my RA2 account Very Happy

Hmm that's pretty weird. I can log in to the control panel using my Renegade account + pass or any of my other nicks (also Omar007 but other game Razz) + XWIS pass (which is displayed in the control panel..)

You can always try the 'Reset Password' on the first (login) screen but I'm not sure if that works (I never used that but I didn't need to because I remembered 1 of my nicks passes, which I used to login to the CP). You need either the valid nick or the email it's registered to.
If you use the nickname, you still need to access the associated email.

No, you can't create ST/XWIS accounts in Renegade. You create them at http://strike-team.net/forums/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=r egister

Any particular reason why we have this new system to do a simple task, which was working fine before this?

Well this topic is still going on. I have to say I haven't watched much Anime recently (maybe a year or so) the last thing I saw was GITS (for the third time)

Im not too sure whether I just dont enjoy Anime anymore or whether its just I dont have time really to shit and watch it.

I still haven't been able to reset my passwords. I have made an account at strike-team.net.I cant view any of the forums at xwis-team.net after I login.

[#103139] You do not have permission to view this forum.

I haven't been able to login into http://xwis.net/control_panel/ with any of my logins?

My name that I registered on the forums is the same name as on of the nicks on my serial. Maybe they are conflicting if you can login with your wol names.

I'd say your forum account isn't validated/activated yet.
When/If it is, you should be able to use it to login to the CP.
