Hello every1!

I've been visiting this forum alot in the past but never actually felt the urge to post something, so I guess no1 knows me Blush


When I stopped playing Renegade about a year and half ago there were still many (active) european servers around, like koss² and BlackIntel. I know, they're still in the server list, but ever since I started playing again no one plays there. Even when I tried to populate the koss server nobody would join me Dont Get It

Is this because there are no more Europeans playing this game? I guess there are some on these Atomix/RenCom servers, but honestly, I dislike their game modes!
Ah how much I enyoed playing on koss back in the day with no lag and decent players In Love
No offense to the jelly players, though. It's just not much fun for me to lag like hell, especially when playing with a laptop Huh

The reason why I'm posting this here is simple: It's the only global renegade forums I know (it is, isn't it?)

There are other communities based around the game, but pretty much this is the only forum that can be considered to have any real traffic volume.

There are still Euro players, unfortuntely there are so few players left, they all tend to congregate in a handful of servers at the top of the advance game listing screen.

I remember you, we used to have good games together. The KOSs Renegade player base moved on to COD WAW and nowadays mostly BFBC2. We do come together for some Rene games now and then, but it's rather rare. Feel free to still join our TS3 if you want (ts3.thekoss2.org).

Most EU players (namely germans) plays in DT servers or the rencom ones, while the english EU players play in jelly/noobstories, maybe atomix too.

everybody gets older, i think thats kinda the reason why its not really populated nowadays.

Its actually the older ones who keep up older games. Most younger players move on to newer games more often or focus on something stupid called RL....

Most 30+ have their daily routine:

Job
Back home and kisses to wife and family
Gaming

Same procedure every day Big Grin

Can't say I'm 30+
But that is the only way of life! you know, replace Job with University and kisses to wife&family with .. well, nothing ( Whats That ) and you get me!

you can also check out n00bless, it's in europe and has games going most of the time
it's up there on the list somewhere too
