Did anyone watch the Greece vs South Korea game this morning?

I thoroughly enjoyed it, was great seeing Samaras fail majorly. Very Happy

Overall, I'm enjoying the world cup so far - South Africa were unlucky not to beat Mexico, Uruguay were going to win until the get that defender sent off, had to then play it safe meanwhile France were asleep for the majority of that game.

Argentina vs Nigeria was a good game overall, but I was hoping to see some more goals from Messi or Milito. Nigeria done around average throughout the first half, but put in the effort with 15 minutes left on the clock - if only they'd have done that earlier, it may of ended up a great game.

Apologies to any English people that read my comments in this thread, I just do not like the English when it comes to sport, and like the majority of you here anyway, but not when it comes to sport. Wink

I hope USA inflict a few goals onto England tonight, or even snatch the 1 - 0 Victory, just so England are that step closer to coming home without the trophy.

Regards, Hypnos.

Im not too sure whether I just dont enjoy Anime anymore or whether its just I dont have time really to shit and watch it.

i won't mind at all if USA win... it will do a great job shutting everyone the fuck up if England loses to a country that, on the whole, couldn't give a turd sandwich about football.

They'll be playing it all day in the USA during the match with the UK. If that isn't clever marketing, I don't know what is.

It's so absurdly hilarious, and I love it. Mr. Green

Green is going to have nightmares tonight. This was supposed to be 1-0 victory for England and despite USA playing a really good game in the later half, it's all going to be Green's mistake that gonna be all over the papers.

I guess it's settled then, England and USA suck equally.

lol, I love the commercials here trying to hype the world cup, you see people from other countries wearing face paint and cheering in soccer fields then they cut to the usa fans in full HD "obviously shot like last week for this commercial" cheering. You see all the European and south American footage that spans decades you can almost taste the love of the game.

I can name more British soccer teams then American teams, you will occasionally catch a Man united game on like espn34 but never any mls games.

Yea, we got raped.

Defense = wtfux

Attack = wtfux

Too many crosses where Cahill just stood behind a defender and the goal keeper and still being marked by one other player.

He needed to get in front of them; they got the crosses every time.

Defense was pretty average too.

edit; red card on Cahill was too harsh. He was going for the ball and tried to pull out of the tackle. Yellow - yea, Red, no.
