Hey, I've tried a lot to get scripts 3.4.4 to work so I could have more commands for listen server. I have gotten it to work a year ago or so but I don't understand, when it seems to work non of the commands work.

I simply don't know how to install it, I tried the installer also I think when I used that all my buttons diapered, like quit, settings, just the menu buttons were relocated and without names.

Oh, if this is any help for some reason I'm using the Decade.

Normally you just download it at http://4camp.exe/scripts344.exe and run the installer (maybe in admin mode?). If your menu buttons have disappeared, try restarting the computer.

Ah! Restarting worked, thanks. However I've gotten no where- the extra commands that come with it is all I want. But none of of them work and I can't join multiplayer.

Are you talking about commands like !cmsgp from IRC? Because those are nothing to do with scripts.dll 3.4.4. If your not, then perhaps give us an example of these commands because I have no idea what commands your talking about.

Its in the bhs.dll- I'm certain.

These are the commands I'm talking about.
http://www.renegadewiki.com/index.php?title=Renegade_(FDS)_console_commands

I've gotten it to work before, but dunno now.
Would it work to just have a newer bhs.dll file, if so then that thats possible that would be easier.

3.4.4 contains the latest released version of the BHS.dll file. To use console commands just open the console by pressing ` and type in whatever command you want to use followed by the parameters. Note that a lot of those commands ONLY work on the RenegadeFDS and will NOT work in Renegade itself.

Using F8 would be a better idea since it will put a ` in your command now and then when using ` to open the console xD

More will work on renegade too as long as you are the host Thumbs Up
All will work when on the FDS.

But this is what my problem is, I can't get scripts 3.4.4 to work, I have but I don't know whats wrong now. And yes, I've tried using the installation.

Couldn't I just get a new bhs?

How does it "not work"?
Can you be more specific to what happens or where you put the files?

No, you cannot mix and match .dll files from multiple versions of scripts.dll, it won't work properly.

Okay, so then I need to address the problem. Now I have it, it works but eh, I can't connect multiplayer now.

One other question, the commands do work on a listen server correct?

Doesn't connect to multiplayer how? Just a black screen, or is it an error....or...?
