I would rather honestly have the doomsday Mayan calender to be true.

I think she has a good chance capitalising on the conditions today (its all Obama's fault!!!11)

Lets see who this lady is: a pro-life view on abortion (even in cases of rape/incest), anti-science, neo christian creationist who also is unsurprisingly homophobic. Not to mention her abilty to run a country is highly questionable.

This is a nightmare prospect that is facing us and sadly there are enough conservifaggots to throw her their votes. She will take the country right-back to the dinosaur era.

edit: corrected typo

That's one of the reasons McCain didn't get elected. I don't think many outside super feminazis are going to really like her. Even then, the feminazis won't like her "pro-life" shit (which, by the way, you called it "pro-choice", lol).

I want another Ron Paul to run. He got a surprising amount of popularity.

Palin basically represents the one repressed bunch in society that love to tell everyone else how to live their lives. Hope she won't get too far.

She won't. Even if she rides the "OBAMA'S FAULT" bullshit (well, it's not bullshit, guy's fucked up alot... inb4dover), there'll be better candidates. She probably won't make it past the primaries. She better not.

If she wants to get elected, she'll have to learn how to answer questions without looking at the cheats she wrote on her hand. Or at least not be so obvious about it. Your average 10th grader could've been smoother.

If you actually want to have a serious discussion on the matter, try not turning people off of presenting their opinions by calling them "conservifaggots" and the like.

I'm the bawss.

She hasn't a chance in Hell. She'll be up against Mitt Romney, and Mitt would have it in the bag because he'd be highly favoured by the business contingent portion of the party, and has successfully governed Mass. On top of that, Scott Brown's win also gives Mitt an edge, both in funding, and in general appeal on the Eastern Seaboard.

America needs more bad presidents. How else will the mass people realize that they have the power to change the country they live in?

Nothing units people better than a common enemy.

Yeah, exactly. Most people realize Obama hasn't done shit to help the economy, despite what he says. It's one of the reasons his popularity went down the toilet rather quickly- guy's done nothing but spend more than Bush has, and that's like trying to race a helicopter to the top of mount everest. So chances are likely, they'll want someone who'll actually do something to help the economy out. I just hope he isn't overly religious and continues the regular Republican bullshit of banning certain social rights.

Obama's hog-tied mainly because his own party is too damn busy fighting with itself over health care, and trying to sell it to the American public. This is something most American's want, and yet the Dem's still screw it up. Bill Maher said it best, when he said the Democrats couldn't sell Cub Scouts to a pedophile.

As for Mitt, he used to be pretty liberal in the social department, but now he's pro-life, anti gay marriage, and all that stupid garbage that gives conservatives a bad rap. Unfortunately, you more or less have to adopt those views in order to get elected in the US.

I don't think it is that Obama is doing worse then he should.
(I'm not saying he is doing a good or bad job)
I think it is the people that misattributed what Obama would achieve.

Even over here in Europe Obama was presented as the miracle who would solve all the problems.
If you look back at the time when he was just elected you will notice that nearly everyone had the idea that Obama would change the world.

Like the credit crisis well that is unsolvable by one man.
History has proven that every time the best yet most inhuman way of ending problems like this is war. (Something like Lewins model unfreeze/change/freeze).
After most wars countries change rapidly then freeze that situation until the next thing happens.

you mention left wing... what's truly baffling in england - might be true over there too - is how left wingers are now in bed with the extreme right.

news for left wingers, the correct approach when you encounter extreme fascism is to stand up to it and defend liberal precepts (democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of religion) at all costs, not defend it and punish those who actually do stand up to it.
