well after numerous crashes maybe its time to ask the experts!

Anyone? Crying or Very sad


The crashes appear random! thats the whole deal running win XP sp3, installed cp2 and scripts 3.4.4. tried playing with 2.9 for a while but its the same deal!

Ok it seems t appear only if i buy an APC and go in :S

have u been running rengard or somthing? cuz this happend when i ran renguard before.

also do u got scripts?

A bit more info would be useful. When do the crashes appear? How often? Which OS do u use? Have u installed anu ptaches or scripts?

Okay, Do you have a custom HUD? Or a custom shaders.dll? This can cause crashes when entered vehicles a LOT. So, If you have a custom shaders.dll be sure to remove it, Or repair it if you have TFD, Etc.

I got TFD and the only shaders are of the scripts... so that cant be the thing right???!!!

Okay, Put your disk in, Click on the TFD Launcher, Click on Add/Remove, Then click on "Repair", And let it work. Once that is done, Reinstall Scripts 3.4.4. And if you have ret per weapon, Etc, Reinstall that.

And if your Renegade still isn't working tell me.

repaired... reinstalled... still the same deal.

even without the scripts.

Yes, Like he said, What DirectX Are you running? Isn't Renegade's lowest compatible DirectX7.0? I run DirectX 9.0c And Renegade runs very nice. Update to the latest DirectX And then try reinstalling and running Renegade.
