hey there I have a couple old laptops that i want to play renegad on. Unfortunately, the game won't load on it and I don't know why. (I put the disk in and it starts to load then it gives an error mesage saying that "the program has to end") Perhaps I need to download something else first?

the laptops are IBM T23 "Thinkpads" http://pcworld.about.com/news/Oct232001id66686.htm

I think the graphics card may not be up to scratch, it doesn't exactly fill me with hope...

Indeed: if your GFX card doesn't meet the requirements, the installer crashes.
