Missing Setup/Launcher Files.. [message #400949]

Recruit

It appears that I can't run my Renegade (can't uninstall or run it) because I'm missing some pretty important files in my Launcher folder.

All the files I marked with a black box I'm missing the only files that I have in the folder are the last two the tfd and the TFDLauncher but they obviously do me no good. Are there any ways to obtain these missing files???

Copy the files from your C&C TFD disk to your harddrive Thumbs Up

Or run a repair install if supported by the setup

You can skip the launcher by going into the Renegade folder and running game.exe.

When I open up Rene Resurrection and click on a server to join it says..

"Set working folder and try again."

What does that mean??

Hmm i only get that error if im missing the always.dat file in the DATA folder.

Maybe the whole TFD install has been corrupted???

seems to be that way seeing as i can't even run the launcher which i need if im going to install/repair/uninstall which is the options that the launcher gives you...

thank you so much lol that fixed it all a friend of mine tried doing that before but it wouldn't let me open it up in winrar only in notepad...

when i try to run it it says"Launcher config file missing". "You must run the game from it's install directory"

Where is that?

I tried Game1, Game2, and the icons on my desktop none of them seem to work. And I seem to be missing the setup.exe file for it to so I still can't uninstall it..
