This is very frustrating and I haven't been able to install Renegade ever since I rebuilt my computer a few days ago. When I try to install Renegade, about midpoint through the installation it stops the installation and gives me a pop up error, "Cabinet File System Error: 4". It shrinks the installation with the popup and closes it.

Any ideas my fellow Renegade guru's?!??!

Bad/dirty disc or bad/dirty drive.

That's not it as I tried using my digital copy ISO that i've used to install Renegade in the pass. I rebuilt my computer and now i'm wondering if all my new crap wont run this thing...

Well, saber was right. My ISO's became corrupt somehow. I redownloaded a different one and it worked...sigh!

Saberhawk is always right. TBH, I thought it was corrupted, I was just seeing whether it was some oversight in Windows7 or something.

i had that exact same problem over and over i finally got pissed baught a new cd and destroyed the old disk... and it worked so yea bad or dirty disk and same with the drive
