I'm on Vista, this happens whenever I play a game with 'new maps' on Gamespy.

You need to download the maps first. Renegade does not (currently) possess an in-game content transfer system, or more simply, the game itself cannot download maps.

Just about every map ever made for Renegade is in this file

Once downloaded, extract the maps to "C:\westwood\Renegade\Data" if you are using the original retail version of Renegade.

If you're using The First Decade, then the "Data" folder is within the "EA Games" directory in your "Program Files" directory.
