No I dont mean right click properties then check the hidden box I mean is there any other way to hide files and folders without using that check hidden in properties way? I tryed google but could not find much on how or what program to us, Iv seen lot of law & order and some episodes people hides pictures and parts of files into other files so they cant be found and etc etc I want to be able to hide files so that it will be hard for others to find (dont ask why) anyone can help me?

Well, I'm not too educated on what you're saying, but if you saw it on Law & Order there's a good chance it might not be possible. TV and movies tend to greatly exaggerate the capabilities of computers.

Depending on why your trying to do it, and who your trying to hide it from, you could simply create a partition to store 'hidden' things on, and then disable it from showing up in Windows Explorer using the NoDrives registry key. It's fairly well hidden from the casual observer, but it's not going to stop someone who knows what they are doing from getting to it (since you just manually type the drive letter into the address bar to get to it). Again, depends on the scenario and whom it is you want to hide it from.

As for hiding things inside other files, its pretty easy to do, although if you want to make sure said file still works as it normally would (and hence does not stick out as being unusual) you have to pick a file format where you can deliberatly leave gaps in the file structure to hide things in. Incidentally, you can do this with the MIX file format used by Renegade for .mix, .dat and .pkg files fairly easily. Just don't be surprised if you hide a 700mb iso image inside a .jpg file and someone notices it

1. You can pack a .rar/.zip/.7z archive into an image file (.jpg/.png/.gif/etc)
2. LOL a 700+ mb .jpg better be an uber quality image!

I noticed some files that where hidden, really hidden, system files of course. It are some .sys files that won't show up, my anti virus says something about when I start a scan. Well, I think it is because I have a duelboot, anyway it are hiberfil.sys and pagefile.sys. Those won't show up in explorer.
Moding can be real Fun...

It might be way easier if you just buy a cheap USB key to store all the files you don't want people to find. That way, you can physically hide it, and not have to worry about people poking around on your computer.

Not when the info and files are in the large side as in HDD size and cant easily carry around

Using external storage would be the best option if you have that much stuff. Either that, or doing the secret 'OS' thing.
Truth be told, porn should always be stored in a seperate location, off of the main computer.

I don't understand why you can't use the method I posted. You can even password protect the .zip file before copying the binary data to the new .jpg.
It doesn't have to be zip files and jpegs either, you can copy any files into one...
