ok i wanna add a forum to my website

anyone know how to ad a forum to a .com wbsite

Download some forum software (EG: http://www.simplemachines.org, http://www.phpbb.com) and upload the files to whatever folder you want the forum to be in on your website, such as the forum folder, as Gozy suggested.

Then run the relevant install files to setup the forum. Always double check the install files are fully deleted after setting the forum up to ensure nobody else can use them to screw things up.

Whatever webhost your using must have an extremely outdated version of PHP, get them to upgrade it to PHP5, or try installing phpbb instead...

Also, websites with adverts on are lame....

thanx for help all but i got a website forums now layouts crap cos i dont know how to make a layout and sort it out
