My monitor was working fine....then when i went to get food came back it was off and would not turn on even thoe pc and such was on.....lucky i had a backup but smaller resolution screen worked so i tested the big one that stopped working and the light wont even come on.....as if it was not plugged in it so i changed power connectors and still wont even light up plug into pc and power outlet and yet hear nothing or even see no lights or anything at all feeling as if power was going threw it...is there anything i can do?

LCD or CRT? It sounds like it's dead nothing can be done.

5 or 6 or more years old maybe? for anyone in Florida think about few years (2 to 3) or so before hurricane charily came...
